Congratulations to Jan Overman
Dr. Jan G. Overman (Cohort 13) of Winston Salem has been appointed Vice President for Academic Affairs at Rockingham Community College. Overman will be responsible for all instructional staff, educational programs, and learning resources. She will begin her duties on Thursday, September 1, 2011. Since June 2004, she has served as Dean of Health Technologies at Forsyth Technical Community College, where she also served for an interim period as Dean of Arts and Sciences. Overman received her bachelor's degree in nursing and master's degree in nursing education from of East Carolina University. She earned a doctorate in Education Leadership from Appalachian State University.
