Biography:
Melanie is currently a student in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Appalachian State University. She loves being a student at Appalachian State University and wished to stay in the state of North Carolina upon graduating. Melanie plans to spend her career working in Local Government and eventually become a City Manager.
While attending school, Melanie serves as both President of New Life Campus Ministries and Secretary of the ICMA student chapter. In her free time she enjoys reading a good book, going on a hike, and playing tennis.
