Gwynne Shoaf and Karen Anderson Present at DRIVE Task Force Conference

Current and former students of the Doctoral Program recently presented at the DRIVE Task Force in early February. Educator leadership programs serve as one strategy to address educator leadership shortages and retention issues. The DRIVE Task Force heard from current student, Karen Anderson, Clinical Faculty at North Carolina State University, about the NCSU Educational Leadership Academy (NELA) and their efforts to recruit, prepare, and retain high-quality and diverse leaders to serve North Carolina schools. Recent alumna, Dr. Gwynne Shoaf, Teacher Cadet State Coordinator for the NC Teacher Cadet Program, discussed the North Carolina Teacher Cadet Program and Chowan University
