Below are the concentrations available for the 2026 cohorts:
The concentration in Higher Education is intended for change-oriented professionals working in the field of higher education, including four-year colleges, community colleges, universities, and related institutions.

Instructional Technology Leadership
This concentration focuses on instructional uses of technology in the context of both K-12 and higher education. Students will earn a graduate certificate in Instructional Technology Leadership.

The interdisciplinary concentration is intended for professionals with an earned EdS degree from Appalachian, as well as those with cross-disciplinary interests in educational leadership, inquiry, and innovative practice.
