The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership would like to congratulate Dr. Heather Melton Freeman on her recent honor.
Alumna of the doctoral program, Dr. Freeman, has been nominated as one of the nine principles that will vie to become the 2022 Wells Fargo North Carolina Principal of the Year. The top winner will be announced on May 20th, 2022. Dr. Freeman is currently the principal of North Wilkes Middle School within Wilkes County, North Carolina. Dr. Freeman continues to impact practice in education.
