Doctoral Program alums, Dr. Rebekkah Watkins and Dr. Amy Lowery, presented at the EDULearn conference in Palma de Mallorca, Spain this July. Drs. Watkins and Lowery presented their co-dissertation research on the impact of youth participatory research. When asked about the impact of the conference and her work, Dr. Watkins shared, “ it was impactful to see so many other educators from around the globe interested in youth participatory research and the idea of students advocating for their own research. This is a topic that can be applied to many grade levels and types of education.”
