Appalachian State University appreciates and recognizes our donors and supporters in a variety of ways:

Rhododendron Society

The Rhododendron Society recognizes graduates of Appalachian State University whose service as teachers, librarians, human service professionals or administrators has reflected great credit on themselves and the University.

1899 Legacy Society

The 1899 Legacy Society members have included a provision for Appalachian State University in their estate plans. Above and beyond any regular giving habits, this action demonstrates extraordinary commitment to the University and exceptional faith in the future of an educated people. Chancellor's Society

The Chancellor's Society recognizes donors who annually support Appalachian State University at the $5,000 level or higher. Chancellor's Society members are eligible to register for a complimentary campus visitor-parking pass.

Scholarships

Over 375 students were awarded almost $950,000 in scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year - more than any other college at Appalachian, however only six of these scholarships were for doctoral students.
